Love it always...Have learned so much reading this forum...I'm on my second motor home now...between both of them have only put on about 30,000 miles in about 2 1/2 years...
We took off last year for about five weeks..now thus summer it should be three to six months...( I recommend doing something along these lines so you see for yourself just how much of a change it is to live out of a motor home for a period ) I tend to do most of the repairs and upkeep myself whenever possible...so learning is a daily process...and most times an enjoyable one...
Getting ready for our 3 to 6 months and have been loading things from the house to the m/h...one of the last things will be to go through all the compartments, and inside and " remove " what won't really be needed...lol...What you think you need two and three months prior to an extended trip is much different from the last few days prior to leaving..and the plus is also, you might just find something you need on a daily basis that you would have forgotten...Not to worry...you will forget something...but there is always Walmart to overnight at, and scoot in to buy what you forgot...lol..it makes for great fireside chats... " Honey, honey...where the heck are ya...Oh shxx. Why didn't you tell me Mom wasn't here boys, ( the dogs )..." ha ha ha...

...OTHER FORUMS??? REALLY??? This is the first one I stumbled across......."planted me a mailbox" and claimed homestead exemption right here!!! I figured that I did not need to look any further.

BTW.........if my grammar, punctuation, or in general "attitude" seems out of sorts sometimes.......please gently kick me in my "online-behind"; I have had two strokes within the last year, so sometimes my attitude is not always up to par or my thought processes are a little cloudy when it comes to typing, etc. This is not an excuse, just letting you guys know in case I seem out of the norm sometimes. The last thing I would ever want to do is offend anyone on the forums; you guys bring so much enjoyment to my retirement, you will never know.............a guy can really live life well, knwing that out there "somewhere" he has a friend.
