I thought I had spent my time in ****, but it's been that hot here lately. Got some cloud cover today and it cooled down some.

HB how are you. A nice splash in any Oregon lake sounds great about now. I'm from Olympia. Been your way many times but have not made my way to the Pacific Northwest except to pick up the new truck in a long time.

Olympia! Really? We lived there for seven years after I retired. Offut Lake down by Tenio. Sold real estate with Classic Realty on Pacific Av. Donna had a hard time with the lack of sunshine and we went back to Florida. Big misteak.

Not only is it hot, but all the idiots are out in Redondo Beach tonight. Today was just one of those days, and the out look for tonight isn't much better. Oh well, I get to go home for 4 days tomorrow.

Griz, do you pick up your WW this weekend? Hope all goes well.

I sent off picture discs to everyone today, you should get it in a couple days.

Have a good night and say Hi to the family!!!

Clark

Hi Griz,

Sorry about your heat..

It sprinkled with a light touch of beautiful rain here in La Selva Beach and the sun was
out for part of the day.

The highest the thermometer went was 71 degrees

Maybe that's why no one can buy a house here
anymore

The other downside is that there are no places to ride here

How are our folks out in Arizona doing? It must be awful. It's hot here in VT but noting in comparison. It's been high 80's to 90. That's pretty warm for these parts. The weather is supposed to break today and cool down some.

Even here in the cool NC mountains it's been hot and humid, forecast for today is for even hotter temps in the mid to lower 80's.

I guess I'm spoiled since moving here from Florida, our lows at night in FL were about what the highs have been here this past week and it seems really hot!

Today is the 39th consecutive day of above 100 degrees. The highest we've had in Tucson is 111 this year. Yuma has had 125.

Tomorrow if we hit 100, it will best the record for consecutive 100 degree days. We are getting some pretty rough monson storms in the afternoon and evenings.

We lost power about 6 times on one day, a couple of times the next day. We usually
have pretty stable power. Sure makes it hard on computers and trying to cook, let alone the compressors in A/C and frigs. .

I'm going to crawl back in the refrigerator now. Art

For some reason we thought if we came to CO. it would be cooler..HA It was 116 in phoenix, and 105 here. guess it is cooler, but this is CO it supposed to have snow and be cold right?

Today we left Grand Junction where it has been between 100 and 106 since Sunday when we arrived. Now we are in Colorado Springs at 7,000 ' + and its in the high 90s, guess it got better.
