It has come to my attention that not everyone

reads the memorials section. My dh who loved rving, the places we went and the people we met and made long time friends with passed away July 30th. I posted it under memorials, but have gotten phone calls and emails from friends who had us on their minds and wanted to check and see how Tom is doing. I don't know who its harder on,me for having to tell these well meaning people or for them to hear the news.
The first National we went to was the one in Nashville,Tn,the last the 2011 in Urbana,Va. We knew then he had a brain tumor but the dr led us to believe it wasn't too serious. We went from the rally to park the rv at Duke, where he had surgery Oct.7. It was a Glioblastoma, grade 4 and in the worse possible location. He was given, with surgery, chemo and radiation 17 to 21 months,I had him in my life for another 10 months. We were able to quietly celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary and a BIG birthday for me. Unfortunately he wasn't able to celebrate his birthday this year as his memorial service was the day before his 67th birthday.
I was lucky to be able to sell both the truck and rv,the new owners flew out from Montana the day after Tom's service and took possession, they will full time in our Cameo,so glad its going to a great couple who will enjoy it like we had hoped to.

I'm so glad you had 45 years together, and so sorry you didn't have more. Just remember in everything you do, Tom will want you to feel joy and happiness.
