Wow things have really slowed down on the board, I know I'm not the only retiree with spare time. Seems like the last 4-5 days no one is posting. Well come 12/28/11 I'm heading south, who's going to Florida? Maybe we can start posting itineraries a meet up from time to time.

We are heading to AZ this year. We have wintered in FL, and TX, and I guess we tired of the same-ole-same-ole. Isn't that why our 2nd home has wheels_.

Maybe because half the people have winterized their rigs and they are busy shoveling snow???? Where in Florida are you going? We are looking into going to Camelot, near Palm Bay.

Our first stop is in Port St Lucie to see family, then to the RV super show in Tampa. From there we head south to Bonita Spring for a month, then Key West for the first 2 weeks of March, back to Bonita Springs.
Then ????????????????

Sounds great! We can only stay 6 weeks, but intend to soak up every bit of sun we can before heading back to NC. But Spring weather will be starting by then so won't be too bad.

Tell me about it, I was tempted to go myself but don't feel like re-winterizing.

Here in Arizona, we proclaim Spring weather to be starting the day after we declare Fall weather to be over.

Now you know that people post all year round

Fall "How do I winterize"
Winter: How do I keep from freezing
Spring: I took the battery out and now I can't remember which wire goes where (See note below)
And we just finished the summer posts.

NOTE: Before disconnecting battery spray all the wires hooked to the positive (+) terminal with RED paint..

Paint the negative (-) wires BLACK.

Overspray on the battery... A good thing

How the heck do you find Montana, hidden under all that snow?

We passed through a corner couple years back and we left rain in Port Alberni, mush in Washington and then SNOW in guess where.
