Its been a weird day, how about a laugh

I have been complaining and writing letters to our HOA about the speed bumps that seem to crop up overnight...they are flat black and you simply cannot see them. no signs or anything

so today the astute painters arrived to paint the bumps

you just have to laugh

You sure they didn't just pay the local squirrels to drag their tails through paint then circle the bump?

What are your HOA dues? Maybe that's all the paint they could afford.

And just think of the tax money saved because they didn't stop the paint truck to remove the dead possum.

I keep wondering if you can bill the HOA for the damage to your vehicles.. I had a speed bump take out two of my jack springs this spring. Now I was able to fix it at no cost to me save my personal labor. but still, that's good for $150 if I billed them.

I understand the need for speed bumps.. but I still don't like 'em and avoid 'em if I can.

True story.. School I used to arrive at every Sat AM to set up coffee etc for a orchestra rehersal (Darling daughter was first flute)

Well the school snow plow hit it.. No more speed bump, and major repairs to the plow.

Heh, just looking at it, you can't really tell it's a bump. Would be interesting to just paint those on a street with no bump and see if people slow down for them.

Those lines would be great if a policeman wanted you to walk them to test you sobriety. I wouldn't dignify the guys that did that with the name Painter's.

My first thought was what grade in grade school did they give the paint brushes and paint to.

"Here children, on your way to school tomorrow, be creative and paint the speed bumps yellow."

How many more look like that?
