Tonight will be like most. One can of Dr Pepper.
Ever since the operation inside my mouth 3 years ago then chemo & radiation treatments(35).

The Doctor's said the cause was alcohol(I quit in 1983) & smoking(quit 2007)
Doctors orders is to never do them again. Not even a occasional glass of wine. :(

May none of you, ever have to go through that.

My choice is either Breckenridge or Fireside bourbon on the rocks.

It's Monday afternoon and I just twisted open a bottle of Redd's Apple Ale - not bad!

After 5:00 it's a margarita made with a very fine tequila ...only one. Since knee surgery 4 weeks ago, this will be the first adult beverage I'll have had. Been off pain meds completely for 5 days now, so I think I'm safe. Yippee!!!

A small tumbler of Compass Box Hedonism Scotch, followed by a bottle of Riverhorse Oatmeal Stout. That's all for tonight if I don't want to fall asleep in a chair.

Had a couple of IPAs at BJs with my staff today at an offsite and got home and my wife had a pitcher of strawberry margaritas ready...I love Fridays!
