Every night's Friday. However, this Friday night is a Michelob Ultra night.....wait....every Friday is an Ultra night, but this is a hunker down in Michigan (wishing I were in Florida kinda night) waiting for the bottom to drop out of the thermometer for the weekend. With any luck our winters will be spent in Florida for the foreseeable future. Can I have a YEE HAAAAW?

Our "new" favorite. Kind of a vodka gimlet.....

1 part vodka (Hanger 1 is our top self at the moment)
1/2 part St. Germain liqueur
1/2 part lime juice
Shaken....

Add 2 parts chilled cub soda

Garnish with lime wedge

Cheers!

I'm thinking a glass of Glenmorangie 10 year old would go down nice tonight...

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

I know it's not Friday but after blowing snow for 2 hours & then running into work for the rest of the day I had an epiphany driving home and created the.....

TaDa.....Moonshine Manhattan.

2 shots Junior Johnson Cherry Midnight Moon, 1/2 shot Cherry Heering, 1/2 shot Sweet Vermouth, some Angostura Bitters and voila the Moonshine Manhattan.

BTW I'm on my 3rd so I think that they're pretty darn good.

Palehorse89, have not had the pleasure of dining in that fine establishment. Don't really eat out that often. However we should find a time to enjoy a bourbon or two!
