I know where you are and wish we were there. Send me ten bucks or I'll tell.

It's Friday Night, what are you drinking?

Better yet, just stop by with a pizza! The beer is always cold.

Martini, shaken, for real. That tito's handcrafted vodka is great!

It's not Friday, but I picked up a bottle of this today: 2004 Smoky & Peaty Tobermory (Ledaig) 8 Year Old Hepburn's Choice K&L Exclusive Single Barrel Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky 750ml - SKU

I asked them it I could get a discount since my name is on the bottle but, alas, they said no

It's not a bad dram for a young single malt - smoky, peaty, and sweet - although the alcohol content is very apparent!

Last night it was Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA, but only one. At 20% ABV I didn't want to sleep my Saturday away.

I've actually got a bottle of Scotch with my name on it:

Smoky/peaty nose; hint of fruit and graham crackers on the palate, with a finish of fruit. The 60% ABV tends to sneak up on you, though!

Looks interesting. So do they give it to you for free because of the name?

It's not Friday but we are parked at a Flying J and I am drinking a home brewed Belgian strong ale and DW is drinking a Miller Lite (yuck). Had to say a farewell to my big brewery until spring

Unfortunately, no! I did suggest that I should at least get a discount, but the clerk just laughed and said they don't have any discount programs!

Not even if you buy a case? Geez, at least buying a case of wine gets ya at least a 10% discount most places.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
