Well Mother Nature must have a issue with upstate NY this year. We are getting hammered with SNOW! Yes-that nasty 4 letter word! Not happy in the least about it. We've got trees coming down all around us because of the leaves on the trees. Not fun at all. Let's hope this is it and no more at all for the whole cold season!(one can hope can't they?)

I love the snow season but have to admit this would be a little on the unacceptable side right now.

Exactly why we don't live in Upstate NY anymore. We love to visit in the summer, but had enough winter to last me, thank you very much.

Another beautiful autumn day in Chicagoland.
Not problem if all those nasty stormy things wanna skip over us and hit the east coast!

We got about10-12 inches here in my part of PA. A lot of trees and wires down, In the quiet of the night you can hear the trees snapping. This was a very wet snow and I'm hoping this isn't an outlook of things to come!
I hate winter and I hate snow ! Lived with this my whole life and it's really getting old.
The worst part of this is my MH is sitting out at a glass shop for a windshield when it should be in the garage I rent! Don't know when I'm going to be able to get it!
Needless to say I'm not a happy camper!

It's a little early for the snow, but as a avid snowmobile'r I bet the guy's with snowmobiles are all smiling. The wet heavy stuff sure is hard on stuff and hard to remove, maybe it will warm a little and what mother nature put there she will take away.

We ended up with close to 10 inches-but it compacted down so much it looks much less now. I-84 east bound to CT and the Taconic State Parkway are closed. We are under a state of emergency here in Dutchess County. But I still see many cars passing by my house. We have quite a bit of clean up to do-half a tree went down at my Mom's next door and all our Rose of Sharon trees-either have to get rid of them or stake them-they all are bent over laying on the ground. 110,000 people around here don't have power(Dutchess has 290,000+ living here). Not sure I'll have work tomorrow-I dispatch for a local school district and none of the schools have power as of now. Fun, Fun, Fun!

Took a couple of days to hang out in Catalina State Park, just north of Tucson, AZ.

Been in the mid 80's for highs and clear!!

My wife is from upstate NY. Beautiful part of the country during certain parts of the year!

I received an email from a friend in Athol, MA. He went to the middle of the yard where there were no drifts and stuck a yard stick down to the ground. It measured 19.5" of snow.

Glad I'm in Texas. (South East Texas that is.)
