It was so hot in Phoenix the other day I used foil on the pavement to cook my eggs and bacon instead of heating up the stick house with the oven.

When I was a kid, my sister and I stuck a black, cast iron frying pan on the driveway in Phoenix and fried an egg in it. It took a little while, and it was a bit rubbery, but it was thoroughly cooked.

Oh, I wasn't proving you wrong,
I had never heard of such a thing - It just seemed like you were weaving a 'tail' ...
what I was actually proving was that your "tale" (hardy-har) was true !!!!

Here in Southern Alberta June had 181% of average rainfall for the month! 6 days only had 'trace' amounts of precipitation! So the month of June stood up to its moniker of Monsoon June. We have even had SNOW in July during the Stampede a few years ago, never know what will happen here.
