It's a place you can still have imaginary friends after you grow up.

Very , very, close to the truth.

The ; " If you can't Google it , it can't be that important! " generation will never know the joys of, sitting in the shade on, a front porch that faced the street and neighbors stopping by for a chat; lifestyle that quieter times provided.
Facebook, is the telephone party line of the electronic generation.

I deactivated my account several years ago.

Really amusing when family would rather post on their home pages a Happy Birthday to me when I am not on it and then get mad when someone mentions that I won't see it since I am not on it. Their response? "Well at least I said it." They have my phone number and email .... yea Facebook ... nope I don't like it.

My take on Facebook:
If your not paying for it, you're not the customer, you're the PRODUCT BEING SOLD!

No Facebook for me!

Facebook... the place to find out every detail that you don't want to know about the people you went to school with and weren't really friends with then, or now.

Oh, in case anyone is interested I just finished a wonderful bowl of soup while listening to Willie Nelson and watching some storm clouds move in... I didn't think so .

114f. at my winter home park, this afternoon , going for an over night low of 89. I think I'll wait just a little longer. Can't afford that much power for the A/C.
