Hi Dirk:

I look at these forum report statistics every month and appreciate your effort in preparing them for the membership and guests. It’s nice to keep informed about the “health” of the website. However, I don’t think that two of the categories in the report, the “Top 5 Posters” and “Top 5 Topic Starters”, fairly represent the top posters and starters when the moderators are included in the counts. If you review all the previous reports, you’ll notice that the majority of the folks listed in these two categories… are moderators. Moderators, by default, have high numbers just because of the nature of their work which, to me, gives them an unfair advantage.

I think exempting moderators from these two categories would provide a more accurate representation of which members are showing a strong presence in forum participation. You might even consider having two “top 5’s”; one for just moderators and another one for those who are just members.

Confession time.

I don't prepare the report.

What you see is the extent of the monthly report Groupee sends us.

There is no more data available, unfortunately.
