...and the only reason I bring it up is they are playing nothing but his new songs on XM18 (Kenny Chesney's "No Shoes" Radio) today! I hope you listen a bit if any of you have access to XM Radio - either via your XM account on the internet or your XM in your vehicle or home unit (Many people don't know if you have XM then you can sign up and listen online...and yes, it is free)

He does a duet with Willie that I just heard...and Willie sounds as great as ever!
I wish they would do this for every new CD...what better way to decide if you want to buy a song or complete CD.

i had to read the title twice.. i thought you referred to Ken Kesey,
i grew up in the BayArea listening to the Dead, saw them play dozens of times

I grew up on Country/Western. They lost me about 20 years ago. IMHO, current "country" is sophmoric rock and roll with no heart...
