Keystone SD in November

After a great trip to the Hills in July we would like to reurn to see the area with snow.....not too much of it though. When is a good time to catch the first snow and still see the traditional sights? We will not be using our rig but staying motels for the three to five days.
TIA for opinions.

I'm not sure in the unsettled weather patterns of much of the world you can predict when a little snow will fall in the Black Hills. Their average November snowfall is 5.5" in but the average temperature is 19 L to 43 H. So that 5.5" doesn't last long usually.
