Kidney Transplant

It has been quite awhile since I've posted anything.

Long story short, Christmas morning 2013 I went into acute kidney failure resulting in me being on dialysis 3x / week since then. My health was such that I couldn't use or maintain my MH. Unfortunately I to sell MH last year. We sure have missed the RV lifestyle.

Few weeks ago, my former pastor, when I lived in NH, was tested as a potential donor. This week we got word that he is a perfect match! Transplant is scheduled for next month.

God is good. HE has answered mine and many others prayers.

After recovery, we hope to RV in some form again.

It is amazing to think about. Our niece just got a liver in March and is doing fabulously. I'm sure you will, too. You'll be back on the road before you know it. God bless!

My DW found out last month that she has hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer). Looking for a doner with B+ blood.

Wonderful news. I was fortunate enough to be a perfect match for our son 15 years ago. He lives a wonderful life, even running the Marine Corp Marathon. Your going to feel wonderful. Prayers for a sdpeecy recovery

Thanks everyone for your replies and prayers. Around mid August I expect to post about my successful transplant.
Then, initially we may have to rent, at some point in the near future I hope to post about our returning to the RV lifestyle!!!
