I'm almost crying as I write this. Maine is my favorite place on this planet. We reverse snowbird here for the last 5 years. This was the best vacation of my life, more on that later. Next year we will stay to Oct. 15 God willing. Well got to get the rig fired up. I'll continue tomorrow. Peace Mike

Safe travels, we'll be in Maine the long weekend at Forest Lake, last group camp out for year, sadly.

We spent 3 weeks there and it is one of my favorite states. The big problem is that it is a long way from anywhere. Are you come in straight back or just wandering back?

But you get stuck with the rif-raf that can't afford to get home.

I think the best meal of my whole life was at the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound.

Ate there twice this trip, very good. The worst meal we had was Pelletiers restaurant in Miilinocket had surf and turf ( road kill moose and large fake sea scallops). The Maine Diner in Wells puts out great meals we eat there 3 or4 times in the time we're there, never had a bad meal. This was our first trip to Maine that we didn't stop at Reds Eats in Wiscasset for the best lobster roll on earth.
PS we're home now 8.5 hours in the rain
