So far, it seems we are preaching to the choir. Haven't had more than one or two knuckleheads join the discussion.

I don't pull our TT, but I drive an SUV to/from work every day, about 20 miles each way. I admit to driving in the left lane. Why? Because i'm usually 5-7 mph faster than the traffic around me, and I'm getting pretty tired of the jerks with the cell phone glued to their ear going 10 mph BELOW the speed limit. I pay very close attention to the traffic around me, and I'll pull into the ring lane If someone comes up behind me. The road I commute on was repaired to remove the washboards about 2 years ago, but it still isn't the smoothest in the right lane. If The traffic in the left lane is moving and slower drivers get out of the way of faster traffic, what is the big deal if I drive in the left lane?

Speed

To me I don't have an issue with left laners, especially with the MH. What annoys me to no end are those anally retentives that drive in the left lane at the same speed or .0005 mph faster than the person in the right lane.

Sometimes you are headed for a left hand exit.. I do agree the right lane is often very poor condition as opposed to the others.

Going to work I used to get in not the left lane but the one next to it.. Why.. Well once I ot in that lane I just naturally found myself ramping from one freeway to another's Collector Distributor, to yet another freeway (Where I kept right cause my exit was about a quarter mile away and I was passing the office)

It was the lane that went where I was going, none of the others went there.

When I was younger I knew a guy that had a Extra washer fluid tank plumbed into the exh of his car. In the tank was trans fluid,... he was a BIG James Bond fan.

Ah, knucklehead. I should have elaborated. One of my terms of endearment. Not namecalling. Someone I respect, but don't necessarily agree with. Sorry, not going to name names.

I for one prefer the right lane if not in an area with a lot of exits. That said, I will take the left lane over the middle for one good reason. I only have to worry about another driver only on one side of me. I know I'm paying attention but the things I've seen other drivers doing while driving makes me very cautious. I have a better chance of getting the hell out of the way if I have a shoulder on one side. When pulling a trailer, I always stay to the right.

Maybe you need to change the bait when you are dragging lines through the water if you want a bite.

I am not naming names, but if somebody throws their hand up in the air...
