Looks like Hellsgate might be a good place for a mini!!

Don, what's that white stuff all over your Jeep, did you run through a volcano and get covered in ashes. Lol

I sold my 83 CJ7 a few months ago and bought a 97 TJ, it had a 4" lift and street tires, I bought 5 new wheels and tires and front bumper and rear bumper with spare tire carrier.

I still want lockers, at least in the front, probably front and rear, and I would like a winch.

Drove it up to Gilbert Mn to a 1200 acre OHV Park last weekend with the Jeep club and had fun, just wish it would fit in our toy hauler so we wouldn't have to drive two vehicles.

Old CJ7

New to me 97 TJ

Looks good with those 33's. We've been looking around, drove a 2012 w 3" lift and 35's but at interstate speeds it required you to be a pretty active driver. Was great off road but as a toad it will have to be good on highway as well. We tend to take long day long road trips when we travel and only move the MH every week or so.

How does yours handle on highway and high speed?

Our 08 four door has a 4" lift with Pro Comp 35's. I really enjoy how pleasant it is to drive. I don't feel like I have to fight it at all and it pulls along behind the mh just like the 2 door tj used to.

Thanks for your reply. I wondered if all jeeps raised and with the bigger tires were too rough to enjoy driving on the road for any length of time.

Starting out I thought my dream jeep would be a Rubicon w 3" lift and 35's. Planning on having something before I head west in 2015.
