Let's see some Jeeps

After watching this thread since it started I now have the need to see the Jeeps some of you guys haul around, I love Jeeps, always have and always will, I like them lifted with bigger than stock tires but I look at all of them, well most of them, not thrilled with the Grand Cherokees, compass or patriots.

If we didn't pull a toy hauler and a BBQ vending trailer and didn't need a truck I would also have a 4 door JK, someday maybe.

This is mine, a 83 CJ7 with a 1978 351 Windsor and automatic transmission, 4 inch lift, 33" tires, full roll cage and rock sliders, no carpet, no hard top and no doors.

We should lift ours so we wouldn't have to use an 8" drop hitch.

That was the main reason for my lift DW didn't want it lifted but ooh well it's only 2" just enough to make the tow bar level

Our 2011 JK 2 door. 488 gears and eaton E locker in the front, LS diff in rear. One inch lift in front, just to make it sit level. Stock tires and wheels for now. And a few other mods that would bore Most RVers.

Built this one from the ground up, 30 years ago. Started with a 46' CJ 2A. It ended up with a new body, a rebuilt V6 liberated from a 60s era Buick, an interior taken from a wrecked Honda Civic and countless other parts repurposed into one cool Jeep. It's just one of the vehicles I've owned over the years I wish I still had. The current ride is a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited purchased after our '07 Rubicon was totaled by some ditzy 20 something in too big of a hurry. Unfortunately I could not find another Rubicon on short notice and ended up with an "Altitude" edition Sahara. In less than one month's time I had replaced the stock 3.21 gears with 4.10s and had installed electric lockers front and rear, restoring some of the Rubicon's capability.

Now that's a real Jeep, just like the ones that won the war.
