I'm not a cat lover however I'd be sad to hear if it was a pet. :(

Ewwww, it does look kinda cat carcass-like. Poor kitty. I guess that's for when they get tired of fish.

It appears to be about bedtime. The little ones just got tucked in for the night.

Now that I see it in better light, I think it is probably a Muskrat or possibly a skunk. Although the coloring seems more brown like a muskrat.

I initially thought muskrat, but couldn't see a rat-like tail. Although those light patches look kinda like skunk feet, rathar than cat. I wouldn't feel so bad if it was either of those 2.

Sure looks like the tree's a-sway'in today. Hope they took their Dramamine. Makes me dizzy watchin' those branches move.

The Eagle Cam is located about 40 miles ( As the Eagle Flies ) due west of me. Rain or snow usually tracks from west to east, so I can turn on the Eagle Cam and see the weather hit there and know it's on it's way.

Looks like a shower should go thru there soon.

Having grown up in Ephrata and now living in MI I check the Lancaster news relatively frequent. I was watching an empty nest for the first few weeks it was up.

I usually check out the eagle chicks every day and I just can't believe how big they have grown in less than 3 weeks----awesome

Also, I can't believe how much they eat.

I agree " awesome".
Here's a link that a friend sent me after I told him about this nest.
It explains a lot about Bald Eagles.

Thanks Cliff,
Good stuff, Watching these eagles grow blows me away, It is very windy here today as you can see on the eagle cam.

The only thing I've ever seen grow that fast is asparagus, It will grow 6" in one night - on a warm night. Love asparagus but don't like the way it makes your "P" smell.
