The best hospital was the mayo clinic in Jacksonville Fla. They'll make sure that every inch of your body is perfect condition. It takes time, case they find something else. I was called the first time about 3:00 am, it didn't match, I just wanted to give up. Next morning they called at 1:30 am. I thought about not going, but I was in no shape too fight them! About 3:30 am I was under. My reaction med. Is giving me a problem. Thank god it's been two years! Our thoughts are out for you! Let me know if you have any questions! jus4fishin

Although your wife's gift came at the expense of another's life, it's wonderful that person who was a match was an organ donor. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Liver transplant

Prayers for you and your wife and the donor family. This good new brought a smile to my face. DH recently had to have a partial cornea transplant.Thank goodness for donors. July 26 hr has the second cataract and partial cornea transplant. Prayers appreciated for no rejection issues. We are both organ donors. My 20 something second cousin had a kidney transplant. It is hard with the rejection medication. Appreciate prayers for Ricky. Keep us posted.
