We were staying at The Belvedere Hotel in the theater district 2 blocks from Time Square
And we just left our hotel room I forgot my coat and went back to get it and was walking to
Time Square and just passed him on the side walk and I said Fonz you helped raise me I never missed
A episode of Happy Days can I get a picture and he said sure follow me so we went to a side road that
Wasn’t busy and my wife took the picture we then went to Time Square and Microsoft was there and
They took our picture and put it on the giant TV it was a great day for us

Thank you for the write-up.

That had to be "a thrill," both events, the Fonz and MS.

That was the highlight we then got on a cruise ship Explorer of the Seas
and went through Huricane Sandy for 9 Hours 130 mph winds 35 to 40 foot waves very scary

Hee hee! Been there done that on a navy ship (converted banana boat) We were evading a typhoon. I needed to go from Radio 1 to Flag Plot, up 3 or so levels, I decided to step out and use the outside walkway. I stepped out alright and look straight into a swell we were sitting down in, then a few seconds later I was looking down a 40' wall of water, then again up the 40' of water. It took me no time at all to close the hatch and proceed by a different method.

How in the world those behemoth ships can ride those wave lite that is beyond me. I have a lot of respect for the CO and Helmsman of a ship. The ship I was on was probably 1/3 the size of the Explorer of the Seas.

Wow, thanks for all the cool info and pics. I don't do big water in any kind of boat, ship or what have you. So I can't imagine the waves. Macktee
