OP, the link that vanbuskirk sent you lists many different recipes. Did you look at any of them? One looks like it might be a fit to what you described.
7 Up Salad
ingredients
1 medium can applesauce
1 package strawberry gelatin
2 tablespoons sugar
1 orange, juice of
7 ounces 7-Up or other lemon-lime carbonated beverage

directions
Heat applesauce and add gelatin and sugar. Add other ingredients, adding 7-Up last. Pour into 8"x 8" pan and chill until set.

Serve with a small dollop of mayo flavored with a small amount of French dressing. This is a fairly dense salad, and easily goes into individual tart pans or other molds suitable for gelatin.

Perhaps this might be close to what you are wanting?

I've moved your thread from the Class A Motor Home forum, here to the Just Conversation forum where you should get more views.

Easy, Leave out the sugar, it is there to sweeten the OJ because it may be tart. try it both ways and then you decide...
