Looking to change careers

I am 41 years old and have been in the 911 industry as a firefighter, police officer, paramedic or PSO for 20+ years. There are many ghost and much water under that bridge. It is time for a change!
I am looking for something in the Camping Industry. Sales is an option, safety or investigative is ok. If anyone has input or ideas, I'm open.
Thanks to you all for the input!

I felt the same way after 22 years with the USAF. I can say that I never found the commodity that I had there in any other job. Those who serve their country in various forms often say they wish they had never left it. Thanks for your service but give it a long evaluation before leaving it.

At 41 you have a long time to go.

Unless you have a early retirement plan that includes insurance it is difficult to land good stable jobs that one could count on.

Granted public safety jobs are at the taxpayers control they are not in a profit model public sector jobs are.

There is a great comfort in job security.

Do it before you have to change the color of your hair to do it. Unless you don't have any.

Look into inspections or construction consulting.

Fire experience helpful to design.
