When we can not find what we know was there we say "the painters forgot to paint them in " From the twilight episode. They seem to forget more often as I age

If its here, how can it be there when I was here. It was there once, but now its here and I don't know how it got there. Had it been there, it wouldn't be here. Didn't I just say that?

For everyone who responded to this thread, you can always take comfort in the fact that "it" will always be found in the last place you look.

I do it the easy way. If I can't remember where something is, I just go buy another one and when I find the first one ..... I now have two of them and usually I can find one of them. I think that is how I got four custom cars. But I can always find one of them but sometimes the RIGHT KEYS are really tough to find.

Did you ever find something and forget you found it and keep looking later in more places? I have, so if you are as crazy as I am, it's not ALWAYS in the last place you look.

I think I'm worse off than I thought...I've found something I was looking for, then it reminded me of something else I was looking for so I put the 1st thing down to go look for the other thing & then forget where I put that 1st thing I originally went looking for.

Oh, it's a vicious circle!
