Lost Camera

What is the first thing someone does when they find a digital camera? They turn it on and look at the pictures to see if they can someway find the owner.

Today the light bulb turned on in my head. I wrote my contact infomation on a sheet of paper and took a picture of it. Never delete that one photo and your chances, hopefully, will increase the likelihood of you geeting your camera back.

You can also remove the SD card (or memory stick) and put the info photo on the cameras internal memory. Then use the "Lock" function to keep it there. I also recommend doing the same for each of your removable memory cards. I've lost more SD cards than I have cameras. Unfortunately before I put info on the cards, but fortunately before I had any images on them.
