It’s grainy as is for me as well but it’s clear and crisp when I click the picture on.

I hope he gets reunited with his hard drive soon.

I feel this guy's pain for sure. I have been there 3 times and have all my pictures. I would be very upset to have lost mine. I won't be any help finding them, other than to pray someone is honest enough to turn them over to him as I live in Pennsylvania.
Besyt of luck to him, and thanks for your service....

I know that it is a long shot posting on our forum. But worth the effort if it helps this vet out.

Hope he finds it!

About 5 years ago I switched over to flash drives.

When on a trip, every night I download the 400-800 photos that Mary takes each day , along with any video from the video camera, to a flash drive.

I then copy everything from that flash drive to another flash drive. It is quick, non-mechanical, and I feel safe knowing that the digital memories of our trips are backed up on the road.

That is a great backup system.

We always back our photos to the hard drive, a flash drive and upload them to our account on the cloud. So are retrievable from anywhere.
