Lost my youngest Brother

I just recently lost my youngest Brother to a rare blood disease called TTP. He was previously diagnosed with another disease 2 years ago called PAH. Ironically it was the TTP that ended up taking his life and they didn't even know he had the TTP until the final month of his life. My Brother and I were extremely close. He was only 44 and leaves behind a Wife, 18 year old Daughter and 16 year old Son. I will truly miss him.

I lost my little brother in a traffic accident in '99. He was 38. It's was, and still is to this day, like a piece of me is missing. My sincere condolences for your tragic loss. Know that even though that missing piece of you will never be filled, life ahead will bring eventual peace. Our prayers are with you and his family.

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your youngest Brother. Please accept my sympathy and compassion as I lost my closest and dearest friend Brother when he was only 29 to a blood clot to the lungs. It has been 17 years and I still cannot believe he is gone.

When my Father died unexpectedly Dec 20, 2008 at the young (to me he was) age of 64, I was given a beautiful chain poem. I found it for you. Please accept it with my deepest regret for your loss.

Family Chain

We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

PS: Kent, the poem you posted is beautiful and will bring comfort to those who are experiencing deep loss. Thank you for sharing that - it is comforting to know that the chain will link again someday.
