"If we go with a flat tax and no deductions, it would put a lot of folks out of work...accountants, tax attorneys, IRS workers and Software engineers, not to mention the lobbyist".

While I feel for the accountants, attorneys, etc., the above statement is like not wanting to wipe out cancer because it would put hospitals out of business and doctors out of work.

Look at the heartache and money it would save.
