making pics resolution smaller for posting

I needed to post a couple of pics to a thread but they resolution is to great. How do you downsize to fit forum posts?

There's a free program you can download called PicSizer. I use it on my laptop. Safe and good.

Well I got the imformation on how to do it with Picasso then I placed in gallery but found I do not know how to directly attach to my post. Bill

Place your text, then click on the picture symbol

above the text. You will have to brouse to the pic on your computer and choose it.

What computer are you using, Windows, or MAC?

I use Photoshop but that's a little much for most people to buy.

Tried that a couple of times and instead of giving me a scroll box I was expecting, it ask for http which confuses me (which is not hard to do as I am pretty computer ignorant....and MH fix ignorant as it appears of late).

Quick reply does not have the attachment (paperclip) icon but "post reply" does. Worked fine when I used Post Reply for the post.

To upload a file from your computer, try selecting the Attachments (paper clip icon) option. That will give you the browse function to locate the file on your computer.

Thanks Bob, yes that was the trick, but the paperclip was only with "POST REPLY" AND NOT WITH "QICK REPLY".

I thought I had done it easly before but must have been on the right posting feature when I had at that time.

If you have Microsoft Office, the Picture Manager is easy to use for
decreasing resolution, cropping, and other editing.

Microsoft Powertoys Image Resizer was the best.. heres the Win7 version: Image Resizer for Windows - Download: Image Resizer 2.1
