Every day I am more aware of what a treasure of a women I married!
Next year we'll have been together for 40 years and the first month of the next year she'll retire from teaching, when we hope to go Full timing in our 15 yr. old Am. Eagle!
25 years Ago I got very sick and since have been unable to work, I've been hard to live with because of my pains, depression and Insomnia and a burden to all around me!!!
Yet my wonderful wife Debbie has worked Full time to support us (our two daughters and me) came home each day to take care of us, clean house cook and do laundry oh yes the girls helped, she raised two beautiful daughters (OK I tried to help a bit) And she wants to spend the rest of her life with ME traveling around to see the world!
I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW LUCKY I AM !!!!
I do love her.
HOW CAN I NOT TELL HER EVERY DAY..... I LOVE YOU !

Sonny, I read this with a tear in my eye. I can not imagine thee hurt inside you as you wrote this. My wife and I will celebrate our 50th in September. While I admit there were times when things were going sideways, we always managed to get through them. I have gone through some bad times and hurt her on occasion, but she was the rock always. I never gave divorce a thought, and by the looks of it she never did either. I sometimes wonder if my mind will ever be the same as it was in the start of our 53 years together. Vietnam has been with me for more than 49 years, and I know that has had something to do with it.
I wish you the best, and as for my wife and I, I pray for us every night. We will survive in spite of me. She is the best thing that ever happened to me.
