Maybe August will a better month

Well July has been kind of rude to me this year. I took the rv on its first camping / jeeping trip on the 4th. Well late in the day on that Saturday I here a popping noise coming from the rear axle . I get it back to the rv and loaded on the trailer. New ring gear! So all Rv related Redoes are cancelled and going to fix the Jeep. We get home and our sweet little blind dog Twink is not doing very well.We take her to the vet and bad news shes has conjestive heart failure. Vet said there was nothing she could do for her. We do the right thing and put her to sleep. I miss that little fur ball! Now I don't have the money to fix the Jeep. I was working on my sons Jeep and just happened to look at my water heater dang its leaking! Boss calls and tells me no over time for a few weeks. Now I have some time to work on stuff but no money to do anything!!! Ok I'm done carry on nothing to see here. Murphy was here.

Now that you have time you can pull the water heater out and look for the leak. I had a leak on mine, thought the worst so ordered one, took the old one out and it turned out to be a small pin hole leak at a welded seam. It could have been rewelded/fixed but I already had the new one so replaced.

Take the time to do all the PM and inspections you can, it will pay in the long run.

Jim I have already replaced it. It was old and ready to go. Home depot had one that wasn't too expensive . I did check to see where the leak was and it was on the bottom of the tank with some other spots that looked just as bad. Thanks for the input.

I have had these months slam me in the past! Sorry about Twink. We get way too attached to our pooches. I still tear up when recalling putting our dog down!!

Take this time to shop prices for fixing the Jeep. You can save more than a few dollars since you have time on your side, to order in pieces.

This is the time when I clean, polish and wax. Or I fix the non-expense nagging issues that I have been putting off, for one reason or another. I can do a walk-through and come up with enough jobs to get me through the month.

Life has a way of balancing out the bad with the good. Chin-up.

Thanks dannyman . You are right about the loss of a sweet pet. She is still in our heart. As for the Jeep I'm just waiting on my buddy to get some spare time to come look at it. I'm always doing something to the mh. This weekend I fixed a few small items that caught my eye on our last journey. I do have a very long list of repairs. I may not have the money for the big repairs but I do have the time to fix the ones that are a low cost value. So far August has been ok !
