Me and willa in vegas ......

Me and Willa was out in Vegas some years ago. Back in 05 as I remember. She had never been there and I felt it necessary to expose her to the bright lightes and the Vegas charm. We got a campsight just out of town and off the ''strip'' by about a mile. We paid for several days and we were going to ''do Vegas'' up right.

The first day and night we just sorta goofed around all over Vegas, just looking around and riding the ''Strip'' and kinda getting the ''lay of the land''. We got a map at the campground and marked some places we wanted to go. Now mind you, I had been to Vegas a few times before but that means nothing because they are re building the place about every ten years. Anyhow, we rode around and looked and went out to Hover Dam and did the tour and went out to eat. The next day we fooled around in the coach and when evening came we spiffed up and we headed out for Creases Palace and some more gambling places where we proposed to win our fortune.

It was evening and we found the ''entrance'' to Ceasers Palace and the signs said ''Valet Parking'' with an arrow to the right and ''Self Parking'' with an arrow to the left. I told Willa that I refused to pay some kid five dollars to park the truck and we could simply do it ourselves and have more money to gamble with. Darn good plan,,,,,,,,,, kinda....

We headed out the ''Self Park'' road for a ways and turned left across a steel grate and up a hill into a multi story parking lot. Hummmm? Everything was full down on the lower levels so we continued ''UP'' looking for an empty place. We followed the arrows UP and around corners and large posts and trash cans and just before we got nose bleed from the altitude I found a parking spot beside a pick up truck full of manure that was white. (the pick up was white, not the manure)..... Anyhow, we hopped out and headed for what we thought was an elevator......... WRONG.... We headed down the stair case until we got to a cat walk thing that went out over two large fans blowing hot air up from the basement I think. We crossed the catwalk, over the fans and went into an unlocked door and started down a long hall. Willa told me that she had to ''PEEE'' and that I should find her a rest room. I said OK and that we should be in the casino in a minute. We walked down the long hall to the last door on the end and opened it. We were standing in the boiler room........ Some guys in coveralls yelled at us and we slammed the door and ran back up the hall way and ducked into an open door that turned out to be a broom closet I told Willa she could ''PeEE'' in the mop bucket if she would be quiet about it and not give away our hiding place. She declined.. After a few minutes I peaked out the door and the hallway was empty so we scooted out and found a door to a stairway going up. We climbed the stairs and went down another hall and opened the door at the end and we were standing in the Kitchen... A guy in a tall white hat shook a cleaver at us and two guys dressed like penguins ran at us and we scooted out of there and hid in another closet down the hall. This ''closet'' turned out to be a cold stowage unit and the temp in there was below zero. I told Willa to find a corner and ''PEEEE'' in it. She said if I thought she was going to drop her laundry in here that I was nuts. Before we froze to death we sneaked out of the ''cooler'' and went out to the stairs again and went down a long hall way and up another floor to a set of double doors. I peeked inside and found we were back in the parking garage. I said ''Shux'' and Willa said she had reached the end of her endurance and she just had to ''PEEEEEEEE''. We went outside into the parking area looking for a bathroom but there were none to be had. She finally opted to hide between two cars and tinkle while I kept watch. I finally asked her if she knew which floor we had parked the truck on so we could find the truck and get the heck out of there. She looked at me and shouted ''NO, I HAVE NO IDEA''. I think she was a little angry. We were set to do a lot of walking and looking for our truck when some guy on a bicycle came up to us. He was wearing a ''T'' shirt with ''Security'' written on the back. He noticed the water puddle between the two cars and ask us if we had any idea what it was. I said it was probably where someone had spilled a beer. I asked the guy if he had seen a pick up with a boat on top next to a pick up loaded with manure that was white. (the pick up was white, not the manure)....... He stood there and scratched his chin and said he may have seen this pickup but he needed something to ''JOG'' his memory and he held out his hand. I put a dollar in his hand and he grinned at me and just stood there. I put a five spot in his hand and he said he might be able to locate the pickup within two or three floors, up or down, maybe. I added a ten spot in his hand and he said he thought he could find our truck for us. He scooted off and Willa said I was an idiot for giving him sixteen dollars for information and he would probably never come back. Sure enough, about five minutes later he rode back up to us and said our truck was one floor down in spot number 290 on the left. I thanked him and sure enough, we found our truck on the first try.

We got in the truck and I asked Willa where she would like to go now..... She answered in one word …. ''HOME'',,,,''ALL THIS VEGAS EXCITEMENT HAS BEEN TOO MUCH FOR ME IN ONE NITE AND I NEED TO CHANGE MY PANTIES''........

We went back to the coach and watched some TV and decided that from now own WE WOULD USE THE VALET PARKING and just ''spend the five bucks''......

We enjoyed Vegas for the rest of our stay there. Everyone should see Vegas one time.. She and I have been back several times since then and we always use ''VALET PARKING''.....

Some vet put their life on the line for your freedoms.... tell him thanks

ALL GAVE SOME .... SOME GAVE ALL and you can go to Arlington to thank them.......

We spend the winter at the Nellis AFB Fam Camp in North Las Vegas. I avoid going downtown and prefer the outlying casinos. Much more friendly and the parking is great. Haven't lost anything yet but my rear in the gaming areas!!

Seajay, many moons ago, I took my wife to Vegas. One night we were riding up the elevator to our room and I said "Well how did you do"? She replied, " I lost 200 dollars"! Ireplied she needed to learn to gamble better.

She asked my "How about you "?

I replied "I lost 900 dollars". She said "NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS!?"

I replied, "Yes but I know how to gamble better !

Believe this, What happens in Vegas, DIDNT STAY THERE THAT TIME !!!

The last time I went to vegas with my wife, we found there is a number of really fine state parks there.

I've been back a few times since, guys only weekends to the street machine nationals. We've stayed downtown on fremont street and had a great time.

I don't gamble tho.

I'm with Finhawk, Nellis AFB Desert Eagle is an awesome RV park even if it is in North Vegas. We stay there every winter and have never had one problem with the locals. We always win tons of money gambling as well ... my (_y_)

You must go to different casinos than we do! I just donate. What site were you in? We were in 23.

Can't understand how they can afford to build all those fancy casinos since everyone always wins.

Good story, but as a former resident of Sin City, when you valet park, you don't pay them up front. And when you pick up your vehicle, 2 bucks is customary.
