I would say this young man is to be considered a Marine's Marine.

I agree with the previous posts; ----but I believe there will come a time when he may regret his decision to turn down the job.

Thats my opinion and I'll stick with it.

From what I've seen previously and with the statement this makes regarding his character, I don't believe this individual will have any problem whatsoever finding employment.

I have to disagree with the title of the post. You do not "win" the Medal of Honor. The MOH is earned at great sacrifice of the recipient.

True:
And that and $1.00 will buy you a cup of coffee.

Please read the paper and you will see that many, many of our countrys finest can't find a job.
In St petersburg their standing on the corners begging for food money.

There is horror stories almost daily in the paper about them.
Sorry I'll stick with my statement.

Old saying------(never look a gift horse in the mouth)

Pride and principles are great; but if you have a wife and a couple of kids, pride and principal doesn't put food on the table or pay the rent.
Ask a vet that has been looking for work and can't find any; ask the vet thats working a walmart or mc donalds for minimun wage to put food on the table.
Sorry--- I just have to put my two cents worth in.
