As you can see from the responses, you can get about any coverage you want.

Since she is in good health & on only one inexpensive med she selected the zero premium Advantage plan thru United Health Care. You can change it once a year if your health needs change.

I am in great health and do not take any med's, Isn't United Health Care part of AARP?

Thanks for all the information. Do you know if where you live makes a difference for the cost of the supplementary insurance.

I am very healthy and do not take any med's and will be traveling in the MH part of the year. My area in Miami is a high cost medical area due to all the overflow of people that live in paradise, or don't have any insurance. I also have intensions to relocate to Georgia.

AARP does not sell anything. They just partner with companies and send out the ads to their 43,000 members. They are like the barker who draws the crowd for the carnival. They take a cut. I use their insurance, but don't really like them as they are very liberal and supported the cutting of $575 billion from Medicare which really changed the minds of many seniors.
