Does that count the SPAMMERS?
I did some researching a while back. Of that 40+k, only a handful of them are actually active* & even fewer are regularly/frequently active. A vast majority of them are once & done registrations, rarely or never to be heard from again.
*I define active as posting at least once within the past year.

In any group, there is always a percentage of silent members. The whole RVing subject can be intimidating, especially to new comers and we can be vociferous lot on some subjects.
To me, it would be more interesting to know how many of the accounts are actively logged on at least once per month, for six months out of the year, even if they never have a single post.
FWIW.

Richard,
You spend way to much time crunching numbers. You weren't an accountant in a past life, by any chance, were you?

Actually, that data is available to the administrators via a parameter search, no numbers needed crunching.

So the guy behind the curtain isn't a wizard after all?
Thanks, Richard.
BTW I would have expected about half the registered members to be dormant (not active in the past year. No surprise there.

I check in a time or two each day, but I may go months without posting. I see no need in repeating the same answer over and over. You can ask, and I don't want to start anything, how to plug in your power cord and get 96 post! Granted there are one or two different recomendation by a rv maker, but come one. Hope you understand what I am trying to say without fuzzing up anyone....

I would guess that in the same way RV usage for many is cyclical so is their usage of the available forums. Kinda out-of-sight/out-of-mind. Dave
