Anyone use a dentist in Nogales? That would be most convenient for me.

You would probably get better responses if you start a new thread with the title being something like "Need to find a good dentist in Nogales, Mexico".

I hope you find one as good as Dr Iniquéz.

Any reports for Dr. Ricardo Carreon in Nuevo Progresso?

He was recommended to me by a friend of my cousin.

I am thinking about driving over there in about (3) weeks, and staying there for
as long as needed, to get a root canal, and some crowns. There is much
helpful information on this site, and I thank all those who have shared their
experiences and knowledge.

Any information concerning Dr. Carreon will be much appreciated!

Here's a copy I posted in Dentist in Nogales MX

First off I would go to Los Algodones by Yuma which seems to be safer.

You can park at the casino and drive down to the border which is a short drive.

This place is pretty safe.

There are a few dentist that I would recommend.

First if you want to keep the cost down you can see
Dr. Ana Maria Gutierrex
928-288-2150

Our son went to her.

When you go into Mexico you make the first left at the corner and go straight ahead to the other side of the block.

Make sure if you use her to only let her work on you.

I went to
Dr. Armando Hernandez Mejia
Due to needing a lot of root canal work done but he's not cheap due to being one of the best.

He is located two blocks down and make a right, then go two blocks down and he's on the corner.

I also used
Dr Pablo A. Luna
928-554-6268

He is a bit high priced but his work is the best.
He dose a lot of stars teeth and if you want the best you need to pay a little more.

He is also located two blocks down and make a right on the left side.
He only takes cash.

You will find many different dentist there so it's your choose but at least it's a safe place to go to.

When headed to Los Algondones the best place to park is the lot just inside the border on the USA side. It cost $6/day for cars when I was there. RVs were higher priced.

I used Dr Jessica Nitardy in Juarez..... She is certified by American Dental Assoc... In fact she lives in El Paso and goes across the border every day to her office.... Cash is cheaper, but she does take cards etc....

Parking... No problem, her brother will pick patients up each day and take you across. Picked me and another up at Mall, another at their hotel.... Then brings you back to your car. He even went into a pharmacy with me to help.....

Remember not all dentist can or should do a root canal that's what a endodontist is a specialists. If they hit you facial nerve and paralyze your face it would matter how cheap it was. In the usa it all about $ and how much you have just call a dentist in his state of the art office and get a price verse the run down strip mall dentist and compare.

My wife had a crown done about a month ago at Pena Reyna Dental Care by Dr Hugo Garza in Progresso. She was very pleased. The price was right too.
