Microsoft Streets & Trips
Now that Microsoft has decided to drop their software, is there anything out there that will work like it? I want something that will work without being on line. Something that I can add stops to make a route the way I want it.

I use street atlas also. The road maps are not up to date and it is difficult to use but I plan my trips with it and then download the file to a gpx. Then I use Babel to convert it to a csv file and poi loader to get it into my garmin. The garmin has the upto date road files.

+ 1 Delorme for over 20 years. It can be loaded on numerous computers for planning.

Does anybody know how I can get an additional license for Street & Trips 2013? I have it on one computer and I want to add it to a second computer. MS has discontinued it, and the only copies I could find on Ebay are asking over $250!!!

Have you actually tried activating it on the second computer using the same key? It has worked for me in the past.

Have you tried the on-line mapping services, like Google, Mapquest, Bing? They allow for adding destinations to routes. Plus, bringing up one of the on-line maps and then typing in RV Parks in their url line will populate the map with RV Parks. Play with their url line and try the word Campgrounds, or if you are in the mood for food type in the type of food you want, like Mexican restaurants, BBQ restaurants, or similar and the map will be populated with what you added.

Far as I'm concerned when they discontinue a product they are giving you free license to use it on as many computers as you wish.. but that said, My opinion and (insert cost of a cup of coffee here) will get you exactly one cup of coffee.
I use S&T in the motor home, the larger screen of the laptop is ... Handy when I'm driving the larger vehicle,,
It will be a long, long time before the roads I drive the house down change enough for S&T to mess up.
On the smaller roads, which change more rapidely, Google maps and my Smart Phone.
