Miller Moths
I am staying in Colorado Springs for another ten days and seem to be lucky enough to be here in the middle of a Miller Moth infestation. I must have a place where they are getting in the coach, but have yet to find it.
In the meantime, does anyone have a better way of dealing with them than smacking them with a fly swatter. I must have killed twenty of them before going to bed last night.

We are also in Colorado Springs for awhile. To take care of the Miller Moth problem we have a cat named Stella—when the sun goes down, she becomes Stellaluna-Exterminator of Moths…..

Best solution I've heard of! Saw a news report of a young woman crashing her car in Colorado Springs yesterday after being distracted by a swarm of moths. Drive safe! Go Stella!

Best way I use is to place a cup of water in an out of the way area with small light above it.Moths will flutter to light and drown in the water, just change it out when full.Night light works great!

To keep from breathing a bunch of sprayed chemicals, we used the vacuum cleaner to suck up ladybugs. Now THAT was an infestation! I know now that those little buggers BITE! It took a couple of weeks to get rid of them all. I think the eggs had been layed before we bought the coach. Bob

A pan of shallow water with dish soap near a light. A bug zapper away from where you are.

I thought I was the only one that had that happen! We coach on our lot at the lake the last two winters and when I opened it in the spring I had ladybugs everywhere! If we bring it home to the dry high desert air that doesn't happen so I guess MY solution is easy!

Another idea, go to a bird feed store like Back Yard Birds or such and get the moth kit for use in birdfeed containers.
It has a sticky tape piece that you place a little pheremone chip on, it attracks the moths and they get stuck.
We use them in our storage boxes at home and they work 24/7 for several months.

Nope, lots of members in the 'Lady Bug Club'. Singularly, they're kinda cute...by the hundreds = not so much. Bob

Yep, COS is a nice place. Lots to do in the area. A whole lot more traffic than when I lived here in the 80s.
I will try soapy water tonight. If that does not work can I borrow Stella?
