Ya gotta understand - the BBC Top Gear guys HATE RVs as they (like many non-RVers) say they're only good for clogging up traffic on the roads. Aside from racing (and wrecking) motorhomes, they have caravan destruction contests, etc. Don't feel bad, though, because Jeremy Clarkson generally HATES American cars as well.
Despite all that, I'm an incurable BBC Top Gear fan. I've never taken to the U.S. Top Gear spinoff, however.

If they wanted to make it more exiting. They would have a road style course in a campground on a Saturday afternoon.

They were just highlighted something that has been happening. There is a guy that will build you an RV that can handle the racing while still be livable as he races his. Some of the RV shows that showcase different types of RVs on the Travel channel has highlighted before the Top Gear guys.
Oh both the original Top Gear and the American version has done the RV/MH racing thing, happened to catch both versions doing it. Only one of the guys in the American version said anything nice about RVs/MHs. Everyone else well not so nice comments but hey not everyone likes the same thing anyway.

That is some great quality workmanship right there. Besides how many of you wish you could drive your rig like that?

Well, aside from Richard Hammond (one of the Top Gear "presenters", as the Brits call 'em) and perhaps James May aka "Captain Slow", another "presenter" depending on which season the video is from, the rest were British Touring Car series (their version of NASCAR) drivers!

Hi
That really looks like the first long weekend of the year around here, everyone has to go around the whole campground loop
To see if there is a better site around the corner and then get back to the spot that was just ok, but ya gotta get there fast before its gone.long weekend camping is a good time to stay home if weren't able to go days ahead of time to get your spot.

With all the "eye candy" floating around I wouldn't know where to look 1st. Plus trying to drive a rig around, not a good idea.

I read this and immediately looked over my shoulder to see where you were. You see, we are camped alongside the Guadalupe River which is a big recreational area. Starting from now until well into the fall there is all kinds of "eye candy floating around' on the river with tubing, kayaking, rafting, canoeing, fishing and whatever else you can do on the water.
