Motorhome Fire

Was just wondering if anyone saw the motorhome that burned on I 20 near Lindale Texas on Tuesday Mar. 20. It was so sad to see as the good folks lost everything in the coach but managed to unhook their jeep. From the pictures on the news(kltv.com) it looked like a very new model coach . I believe it was a 45 footer. The lady said to the news that their tire monitor was alerting and other motorist were also alerting. Very scary but thank God they were ok!

Sure glad everyone escaped safely.

I went to the web site to see if there was much more information but there really wasn't. I-20 westbound re-opened after RV fire - KLTV.com-Tyler, Longview, Jacksonville, Texas |

TPMS units are great but users have got to believe them and pull over as soon as possible when an alert goes off. Sure sounds like a blown or low tire either caught on fire or came apart and damaged something else which did.
