So I assume you are not a fan of Jack Kerouac?!

On the road in my Motorhome blasting through the dark night like a madman on a mission to get to my campground, fires, smoke, with more coffee needed now, caffiene to keep us moving until we find the perfect resting place for souls on the road looking for paradise not too hot or too cold, the sunbirds chasing us south, a flock of birds running from the cold north racing to their destination........

Jack... !

"So I went to the Y to get a room; they didn’t have any, and by instinct I wandered down to the railroad tracks— and there’re a lot of them in Des Moines— and wound up in a gloomy old Plains inn of a hotel by the locomotive roundhouse, and spent a long day sleeping on a big clean hard white bed with dirty remarks carved in the wall beside my pillow and the beat yellow windowshades pulled over the smoky scene of the railyards."

LOL, somehow, I seem to put the commas in place, in my head, and breathe when I am supposed to when reading...

I correct others mistakes in my head too, and try not to point them out as many are older and that would be disrespectful.

The only one that kills me silently is using tread instead of thread when discussing where on the forum something is... Get the H in there folks!

OK... Maybe I'll practice my tolerance on the non H users, too and silently replace the h in their word for them in my head.

Now to go back and add paragraph spaces so ya'll can read it.

Dang it... had to hit edit because I missed a paragraph space!

Then there are the incorrect usages of a word such as to-too-two, pore-pour, duel-dual, pray-prey, etc., etc. which 'excite' my cringe factor.

I think the issue I see most often is the use of "their" for "there" or vice versa.

Another mistake is loose and lose. "If your motor mount bolts are loose, you may lose the engine"

Correct. If everyone would use spell check we might not need the IRV2 Translation Guide as much but now I can't find Thought Check on my computer

There not going two except your criticism.

Since I actually went to school where they taught and encouraged proper writing, here is the correct version: "They're not going to accept your criticism"

But that's so many more words to write!

Yes, of course, a contraction of "They are". I only hope I don't forget and make the mistake of using "Their". I catch myself using "alot" until I re-read and change it to "a lot".

PS... I had a '38 Chev Coupe for many years.
