We have found him a house very close to ours so that we can visit him all the time and he doesn't feel lonely. I was also planning to let him use our car whenever he needs to, so that he doesn't need to buy his own. Is it possible to add him to our auto insurance if he stays in the same neighborhood though not with us?

Given all the facts not in evidence and your location that might be a better question for your insurance agent.

Welcome to the forum...

I see this is your 1st post. Welcome to iRV2. Tell us more about yourself, what type of RV do you have?

JohnRR's right. Given this is an RV-ing forum, it's probably best to discuss your situation with your auto insurance agent.
