You need a wireless router. It will automatically assign a new IP address to each additional computer. The way mine is setup is, my desktop is wired to my router and modem and my laptops are wireless. Would that work?

If you used alcohol to clean it, sometimes it won't cut water based stuff. Try washing it with a soapy solution, rinse with clear filtered water and dry it again. Water is a poor conductor of electricity unless there is salt or other minerals in it.

We have a wireless router for the IP address's , sorry for not being more specific. I just was wondering if the mice/keyboards would interfere with each other, as in his/hers. And thanks for the idea of cleaning it again. I may try that.

It's the sugar in drinks like coffee that raise havoc with electronics. Getting it washed out right away may just save it. If you can put a small space heater nearby or a lamp without the shade the extra heat will chase the moisture away. Be patient before using it. Give it a good 24 hours.

I have a couple 3 of those Logitec mice that have the orange star and can be used on multiple machines. I think they work on the closest machine or have to be programmed to detect each machine, but I'm to laze to go check right now.
