Mysterious light seen on mars?

MYSTERIOUS LIGHT SEEN ON MARS

ZOOM UP CLOSE VIEW

Mars rover "Curiosty" has discovered what appears to be a mysterious artifical beam of light enanating outwards from the planet's surface.

These photo's were taken April 2nd & 3rd, 2014 by a camera on the "Curiosity".

UFO buffs claim the light could be proof that some form of
"Intelligent Life"
is living underground and uses light
"Just as we do"

I believe it's:
Motel-6 "Leaving the light on"

What do you think it is?

Who knows, send the rover over there to find out.

Wouldn't it be nice to find out if we are not alone during our life time?

Looks like a dust devil to me - if it were a beam of light it wouldn't be cut off at the top like that. When I shine a flashlight into the sky the light goes on and on until it's too dim to see.

It's that big 5th wheel always parks next to me and leaves his scare lights on all night...

If you look at the top photo the rovers camera is viewing into the sun on the horizon. This causing a reflection in the camera lens that was interpreted as a light in the distance.

Besides everyone knows the aliens live on Venus.

A billion to one are the odds, they say of anything comming from Mars.

JeT Propulsion Lab explanation here.. Less believable than any we have posted so far: Mysterious light in Mars image sparks curiosity - CNET
---------
The light appears in the right side camera only.- NASA says-- "It's not in the left-Navcam image taken at the exact same moment. It's a cosmic ray hit.".. These flashes of light have been reported by astronauts. "When a cosmic ray happens to pass through the retina it causes the rods and cones to fire, and you perceive a flash of light that is really not there,"

So their cameras on the Rover can see things that are not there. NASA has Another budding politician..
