MyUS.com?

I always though myUS.com was a great deal based on the advertising, but I was very disappointed with the last attempt at using them to ship a package from Ohio to Ireland...

I wanted to buy a reflect-o-lite porch light LENS for our rv. I found one on ebay for 6 bucks but the shipper doesn't provide international shipping. Great I said, I'll use my MyUS.com account and have them forward it to me...

Well I put in the details of the potential package - 10" x 6" X1" and weighing <8oz at the very most ... I was pretty shocked to get a shipping quote of $28!!!

Needless to say I didn't proceed... I thought that MyUS.com were supposed to be the cheapest international shipping company going?

Last week I bought another item from an RV parts dealership in California. Two front turn signal lamps for my 1980 GMC vandura. The package was about 12" x 10" x 6" and around 1lb in weight. It cost $15 to ship it from CA to Ireland via USPS??? And arrived within a week.

There's something not right there.....

From the MyUS website:-

"Save on Shipping - Save over 80% on global shipping from the USA to 220 countries"

Maybe some of your needs can be filled by Amazon. Here's the page for their rates.
