Nate - and why get wet

I hope that no one is impacted by this storm any worse then we are --- which is sitting, looking out at the rain (and our 5er) at the S&B, and waiting a couple days to begin our last trip of the year to Gettysburg and then on to near Richmond to help a daughter get her house ready to sell. In other words, not a problem for us other then rearranging a couple CG reservations.

We waited until today to leave Lehigh Acres Fl back to northern Michigan rather than drive across Nate Sunday.

We arrived in Lehigh the day before Irma made land fall just south of us at Marco Island.

Sounds like you made it through Irma just fine

After chatting with our neighbor here in a Gettysburg CG, am now doubly happy to have not made the trip on Monday. They left from a CG not too far from our S&B home and drove the same roads, but in a big TT, and said gusty winds and heavy rain the entire 400 miles left him shaking. The roads are not good, especially in PA with much construction (always), and the traffic on I84 and I81/I83 is horrendous with an estimated 3 out of 4 vehicles being OTR trucks.

We had reservations for another week, but left Biloxi Sat AM...storm arrived later same day. Got credit for our unused week and will take advantage of that later. Not worth the risk of damage when it's easy to pack up and leave.
