Expanded Metal Mesh and zip ties are a quick fix, just get the right hole size to be effective.

The first thing I do on purchasing a vehicule is loosely place a piece of the fabric window screen behind the grill and tie it at the top on each corner using plastic wire ties. I leave it loose/oversized and if a bit winkled after installation then no problem. It will press back across the radiator/cooler while in motion and then hang loose when stopped allowing debris to fall off. Hit with a water hose/air gun to clear everything off. Have used this method for many years on the farm/over the highways. Cheap/simple
