Am I correct that this "start-up" is not publicly held? It takes a lot of capital to start up a manufacturing business like this so I would have to assume this engineer has some pretty heavy backers down there in Shreveport. The concept is interesting and it does seem to have more character than some of the three wheeled predecessors.

That's was my first impression too. I think it's going to be very interesting if they can bring it to market at their estimated price of $6,800. That's less expensive than many motorcycles and has a cabin/cockpit, choice of trans, power windows and more.

At that price I would consider one for around town usage. Not sure if I would get on the highway with it. I've seen Smart ForTwo's on the highway and there's no way I would travel the highway in one.

This would be a pretty cool vehicle to use instead of a golf cart though

Ah, yes, the Reliant Robin. The subject of one of my favorite Top Gear episodes.

The Reliant Robin Challenge was a challenge set to Jeremy Clarkson that was featured in the 15th series of Top Gear. Jeremy was challenged to drive the Reliant Robin from Sheffield to Rotherham, a journey of 14 miles. During the journey Jeremy rolled the Robin 7 times.
