New Mini Series

Has anyone heard of the new HBO mini-series called "The Pacific?" This is going to be a 10 part story ala Band of Brothers was for the US Army. I know I'm pretty excited about it having just seen my first promo for the show on CNN.

PS: Is the "Hurt Locker" out on DVD/BR yet? I have not seen it yet. Having achieved 8 Oscar nominations, I'm surprised at myself for having missed this one. It's not being shown at our 12 screen theater so I missed it.

I hope that group can do as good a job as they did with Band of Brothers, which I could watch over and over. Brilliant work. I think it starts March 14 on HBO.

Hurt Locker is available in both formats on Amazon. That was a hard one to watch having a high school buddy killed after Gulf War I doing ordinance disposal. The scars these young kids are coming back with...unimaginable.

I to saw a 30 minute spread on it recently. I sure hope its a good as band of brothers, I never get tired of watching it.

It is the same group that did BoB . Executive produces Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. If you watch 'The Making of ...' on HBO, you will see a bunch of good stuff on the series . It starts March 14, so set your DVRs!
